Hi, my name is Becki. I'm a 21 year old British Citizen. I had to flee my country in 2015 because I was in danger of being killed by my biological parents, Ann and Lee Percy.
At aged 4, I was raped for the first time by my biological father. His excuse was that he needed to "make me into a woman". Shortly after that my biological mother started sexually abusing me also.
When I was 9 years old, I was trafficked by 10+ men. This continued more or less every night. My biological parents not only received money from selling my body, but also got sick pleasure from watching others abuse me.
In between this happening, I was beaten multiple times a day for things that were not my fault. If the bruises were noticeable, I would be locked away in their attack for days on end with only a dog bowl filled with water for company. Even though it was dark, cold and scary up there, I had the reassurance that at least I would not be raped for a few days.
My biological parents are Satanists and took part occult activity. I witnessed many rituals including child sacrifice. When in their 'congregation' they would chant "evil they'll call us, evil we'll be" several times before abusing me or another child.
Another one of their rituals would take part in the forest/woods. With a camera on my head, they would make me run through the woods on a night when it was pitch black. The only light was from the moon. Men (and sometimes women) would jump out from behind the trees and rape me. The rule was, every time I was caught, a piece of clothing would be taken from me. It wouldn't be long before I was running around naked. I would see children sacrificed on an alter then these satanic pedophiles would rape the dead child after drinking the blood.
In around January/February of 2010, I told a school teacher that I was being sexually abused by Lee, my biological dad. I didn't tell her about the trafficking or what Ann was doing to me in fear she wouldn't believe me. Instead, I told her the minimum in hopes that with out Lee around, things would change. Lee was removed from the home that same night by social service. Things did not change. In fact they worsened.
Not long after, I told the same teacher I was being physically abused by Ann which resulted in me being taken out of her home and I was taken to her brothers house. He, along with most of the males in the family, were involved in the trafficking ring. So I knew that I would be abused by him also.
After around a month of living with him, I told my teacher once again what was happening. That's when I was moved into foster care - 2 days before my 14th birthday. The abuse then continued in my foster placement which resulted in me being moved to another placement.
The corruption in England is prominent. There are thousands of cases of how the authorities in the UK have let children down. My story is one of them. Although I was under their 'care', their main goal was rehabilitation back home. That meant, they wanted me to live with my abusive parents again. So for the 5 years I was in the system, I went through a cycle of seeing Ann, being abused and trafficked, reporting it, stopping contact, the police saying they didn't find enough evidence to prosecute then I would have contact with Ann once again.
In February 2015, after posting a blog interview that I took part in on Twitter, a Christian lady contacted me. We started talking more or less every day from that point. She knew I was in danger so bought me a ticket to the States. By April 21st, 2015, I was on a plane to America.
As soon as I reached LAX, I was immediately questioned by Customs Enforcement which I was expecting as it was my first time in America. I was taken to a back room and waited with many others for a more in-depth interview. I was questioned by a second officer who did not believe I was going to return to England once my visa expired. I had given him no reason to doubt my intentions. Because of his unbelief in my answers, he was going to send me back. But before he stamped my papers, I told him I couldn't return therefore wanted to apply for asylum. He talked with his supervisor who gave me two options. She said "you either apologise to us for wasting our time and we can put you on the next plane back to England. Or you can pursue with asylum (protection given by the government to someone who has left their home country) but you will be incarcerated ". I had no choice. I knew I would be killed upon my return.
My decision forced me to be detained in James A. Musick jail facility for 14 months. During this time, I appeared in court numerous times. Unfortunately in around October 2015, my asylum was denied by the judge. Shortly after, a $40,000 was placed on my release. In June of 2016, we found a bail company that was willing to work with us. The deal would be we would pay just over $9,000 up front but I would have to wear an ankle monitor and pay $420 each month (this payment does not go towards my bail)
I have been free in America for around 18 months now, living with Wendy and her family - who will soon be adopting me. I have been paying the fees as I should. However, if I am able to pay the bond off completely, I will not only be able to have the ankle monitor taken off, but I won't have this big sum of money lingering over my head.
Currently my asylum case is appealing with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. We should hear back from them very soon with their response.
