Beard gone 4 Compassion Australia

My husband is willing to shave his beard which he has had for the last 10 years, in order to raise money for the work of Compassion Australia.
We sponsor two children (one from India, the other from Uganda) through Compassion and our three girls each sponsor a child. Two from Indonesia and one from Thailand.
We are raising money to go towards our girls sponsorship fees for the year, as well as a $500 gift for each of our sponsor childrens families. This money would help them to purchase things they really need or start a small business.
We would also like to donate a few thousand dollars towards the Compassion Development Centre in Uganda where our little boy is sponsored from. This money would directly help all the children and their families who are registered with Compassion with food, school supplies, buildings, new equipment etc (whatever it is they need). And that would then indirectly make a continual difference in their community as a whole.
We love our Compassion kids and would love to bless them in this way. If we had the money to do all this ourselves, we would. But we don't, so we are believing that generous people out there would have a heart for the work of Compassion and would support our desire to give these kids gifts that will really make a difference in the poverty stricken world that they live in.
