Beahan Rockport disaster

24 years old and newly married. moved across the country together from Florida to start our lives together. Bought our first home back in April of 2017. Out of nowhere we got struck by hurricane Harvey, a category 4 hurricane with the eye hitting our home directly. We were completely unprepared for a disaster of this level. Went out and bought supplies to secure our home before we evacuated to safety. Between supplies to secure our home, hotel stay, fuel to evacuate and buying supplies to go home to fix our roof (which needs serious help) and the rest of our home, and fuel for the generator.. were tapped out. We still have to pay all of our bills (mortgage etc...) even though we unsure if our home is livable at this point... Morgans place of work is destroyed along with many of the boats he works on.. we're both going to be without work for a while... It's insanely embarrassing to have to ask for help, and we would NEVER ask unless we truly needed it.. every little bit helps big or small. God bless!!!
