Be That Kid Shirts For Lemonade Day

This campaign is in support of the 30 children participating in Lemonade Day Brooklyn this year.
As many of you know, Sherry and I, along with help from many others have been successful in partnering with LIU Brooklyn, the SBDC in Brooklyn, Congresswoman Nydia Velasquez and IS 318 to hold the first annual Lemonade Day in Brooklyn in what will hopefully become a city-wide event in future years.
During the program, children grades k-6, will learn how to build a business plan, identify a unique value proposition, and even pitch for funding while creating their very own, for profit, lemonade stand.
Children sell real products and earn real cash. They are then encouraged to save some, spend some and share some with their favorite charity.
These kids are getting a healthy dose of entrepreneurship. They are taking chances and they WILL get messy. But the juice will be worth the squeeze (pun intended).
In conjunction with the successful launch of the program, we'd like to give each of the children a Be That Kid T-shirt.
We've been experimenting with the idea of Be That Kid t-shirts for a month and a half now and have gotten solid feedback on the concept.
Be That Kid t-shirts are more than just apparel. They are inspiration to all of us. They tell us to always remember to be that kid who took chances. Be that kid who laughed, who cried and who got messy. Be that kid who started a business and be that kid who dreamed without holding anything back.
Every one of us has that kid inside, we just need to remember to Be That Kid.
