Demarcus' Chemotherapy Fund

Hello Everyone,
My name is Celia Navarro. On December 10, 2015, I took my son Demarcus Navarro to Juan Luis Hospital because of a limp (which I thought was the result of him falling off his bike). The doctors there did X-rays and other tests and concluded that nothing was wrong with my son and discharged him home. On February 9th, 2016, Demarcus was still limping and in pain so I took him back to the ER. The doctors ran more tests and did another X-ray which showed a growth in his left leg. Intitially, they told me it might be an "ingrown bone" or "cancer." I was referred to Dr. Jackson an Orthopedic Surgeon who ordered a MRI for Demarcus. I prayed it wasn't anything life threatening, but two weeks later after doing the MRI Dr.Jackson confirmed my baby had Cancer in his left leg.  On March 21st, 2016 my son and I flew over to Puerto Rico to seek treatment because St.Croix does not offer the type of treatment Demarcus needs. After many countless test and a surgery, it was confirmed that Demarcus has a VERY aggressive type of "Osteosarcoma" which had already spread to his hip.  The doctor ephasized that the cancer he has is fatal and his treatment has to start right away. Demarcus started chemotherapy on April 1st, 2016, and as of today ,April 2nd, he is feeling very weak and nauseous. I am praying to God that this chemo works. Since the cancer is fatal, if his chemotherapy  doesn't work, his leg will have to be amputated. I am extremly saddened by this news and I'm asking for your continuos prayers. All donations will be used towards Demarcus' medical bills, medications, and other necessities.
