Walk for Chloe

In January 2019, Chloe was diagnosed with a stage 4 brain tumour. She started a 6 week course of intense radiotherapy and chemotherapy shortly after this to stop the tumour from growing. Unfortunately, Chloe’s body didn’t react well to the chemo and had to be taken off it because of her low platelet count.
After multiple platelet transfusions, contracting shingles and a couple of months break from treatment, she then started a new course of chemotherapy. This would only last for one cycle as well because similarly to the previous treatment, her body did not react well to it.
Now that Chloe is unable to complete conventional treatment for her diagnosis, she is trying other avenues which are not funded by the NHS. There’s also a possibility of clinical trials in the US which has shown positive results for people with the same tumour.
Chloe’s most recent scan did show a slight reduction in the tumour mass and we really hope that whatever she may be doing conventionally or not, is contributing to her well-being.
All money raised will be contributing to her current medication and travel to the US.
Please join us in walking the Harrogate Ringway on Sunday 29th December to not only raise money for Chloe Farmer but to show how much support she has behind her.

We will be starting the walk at 7am sharp at Harlow Carr (Otley Road). If you don't feel you can do the full 20 miles please still join us for what you feel you can do. The Harrogate Ringway is a full loop so you can pick it up and drop it when you like.

Make sure you are wearing the appropriate clothing for a full days walking, we estimate that it will take 8-10 hours. Please bring drinks and snacks to last you throughout the day and be prepared for ALL weather conditions.
