Baylee & Ashley Braswell
Spende geschützt
Hello my name is Nekia,
Last year, we lost my mother suddenly and unexpected. It was a shock to all of us. My niece and nephew, Baylee & Ashley Braswell, who were than 2 years old and 3 years old, were raised by my mom and were present with she, passed. We believe that Baylee & Ashley were with their grandmother’s deceased body for one day caring for themselves. It was devastating to lose my mom and unbearable to imagine what my niece and nephew were going through.
Shorty after my mother’s death, Baylee & Ashley were placed in foster care in the custody of Child Protective Services (CPS). As you might imagine, it has been a roller coaster every since. We have fought extremely hard to have the kids permanently placed with our family, with no success. Recently, the court ordered that Bailey & Ashley be placed with another family and we have reason to be worried about their safety and well-being. We have less than 30 days to appeal the court’s decision but this requires the time and effort of an experienced Family Law Attorney. We have an attorney, Mary Anne Beaty, that is ready and willing to represent us in this process. Now, we must come up with the money to cover the additional legal fees (approx. $7,000) that are associated with this stage of our fight.
We would appreciate any donation to help us fight for these beautiful innocent children. Bailey & Ashley deserve better than what they’ve experienced. They need to be back and safe with our family.
We greatly appreciate your help. We are truly grateful. And we thank each of you in advance.
Regards,
Nekia Sutton
