Bay Bridge Solidarity Mutual Aid Fund

Bay Bridge Solidarity is a disembodied mutual aid group that grew from an urgent need in the Bay Area, CA in the early months of 2020.  We focus on distribution of bulk, hot, healthy, vegan, low waste meals and water to different encampments across East Bay and San Francisco (as well as much need supplies such as ppe, tents, tarps, etc).

A quick blurb from our manifesto: 
"'A meal can be an invitation' is our basic building block of solidarity. We engage with the communities we are in, by helping the people nearest to us. We want to be part of that safety net, making others lives easier by fulfilling the needs we see around us. One meal is one less meal you have to worry about.

We are creating something that is our own, for all of us. In organizing, we are our own leaders. If I have money and no time, I'll donate some money. If I have time and no money, I donate my time. We do what we can. We fill in the gaps. We help eachother. "

All funds raised go directly to our houseless neighbors' needs!!! We use it to buy them much needed supplies they request and to reimburse the folks folks who are cooking in bulk for said neighbors. 

Solidarity is forever, so this fund will be always open, and whatever it says we have raised, has already probably been spendt.
