BAWA - train the community to treat the community
Donativo protegido
Hello.
My name is Farrah and welcome to BAWA - a fundraising initiative I have set up to raise money for World Medicine (Acupuncture in Action) volunteer training programme and wellbeing boxes for primary care workers.
The aim of the programme is to provide fully funded training in the NADA Protocol to people who will go on volunteer and positively contribute to the healing within their own communities.
I am a wellbeing practitioner and teacher working in the NHS and community and have seen things become tougher for people to meet their health, learning and work needs - the cost of living crisis has compounded this.
BAWA (named after my late mother who is in the picture) a survivor of the horrors of Partition strongly believed in the goodness of people and to uplift another was to uplift the community as a whole. This page is created in homage to her values and ethos. Through NADA we aim to train the community to treat the community.
The wellbeing boxes are packages containing self care aromatherapy products for NHS primary care staff to support their mental, physical and emotional wellbeing in a time of unprecedented demand.
Thank you for your kind donations and supporting this initiative.
