Ba Vi Nursery Outdoor Play Area

Ba Vi Orphanage and Disability Centre is home to some of the most amazing children I have ever met, all of which are either orphaned, abandoned, physically disabled or mentally disabled. I recently spend two and a half months volunteering in the nursery. The children in the nursery are anywhere between the ages of 2 months to 6 years. There are about 25 children in one room, and they have lived their entire lives in this one room. They do not get to play outside; what they know of the outside world has been seen from the small balcony connected to their room. The opportunity has come for these children, whose conditions we wouldn't wish upon the lowliest of creatures, to finally have the opportunity to go outside, and play as every child should. However, in order for this to happen, they need to be able to build an area outside where the children can go, and play safely without being able to run onto the road.
