Annual Christmas Basket Fundraiser

We are all aware of how difficult this year has been. Aid in Milan is serving more families than normal this year and we need your help to make this a wonderful Christmas for them all.
In past years the Milan Rotary Club has worked with the community through a Cupcake Wars fundraising event, which is unable to occur, as well as partnering with the Milan Area Schools for a successful canned food drive. This year the canned food drive will look drastically different, while details are still being worked out we are requiring more help from the community than in past years to fill the Christmas baskets for the families in our community. This picture is a portion of what the canned food drive produced last year.
The Christmas baskets are filled with canned food from donations, non-perishable items such as pasta, peanut butter and rice to name a few. Other necessity items include dish soap, toilet paper, laundry detergent, toothpaste as well as many other items. Last year we filled the aux gym at the high school with "baskets" of supplies for Aid in Milan families, differing in amount based on household size.
The Milan Rotary is committed to providing the families in our community with filled baskets this year, despite the barriers everyone is faced with and we are looking for community members, who are able, to participate with us. A $20 donation will help to support one individual, we have families ranging from 2-9 people residing. Would you consider sponsoring an individual or family unit this year?
