Barn renovation for single moms

Last year we were invited to a fundraising banquet for Zoe’s House Adoption Agency. Having already walked through an adoption ourselves, we quickly realized that what Zoe’s House does is very unique and special. They walk alongside mama's from the very beginning and far beyond birth, providing them with resources and tools to navigate their lives after choosing adoption for their child. 

We are in a place to say yes to one of the greatest needs expressed at that banquet which is housing for women over the age of 18 or that already have children. The need is great because the only other place for these women to go if they need a safe place to stay is a homeless shelter where the conditions aren’t acceptable for an expectant mother.

We knew then that it would take a community to make this happen. We knew that that 'yes' would mean much more than we could give ourselves. The Lord has been so faithful and provided for the foundation to be laid, walls to be built, ceilings and tile to be installed in the space. We also have a healthy pile of furniture and cabinetry that’s waiting to go in. As we approach the last leg of this project and reach the final stages we are finding that our time and money needs aren’t coinciding with what’s left to be done. So what’s left?

The money we are raising will be used for:
-Trim
-Flooring
-Lighting
-Paint
-Completing the HVAC
-Cabinetry in the bathroom
-Small appliances for the kitchen
-Furniture to fill the space

We are asking for partners to participate and come alongside us and Zoe’s house in our heart to care for the orphan and widow. Any and all gifts are appreciated, we are grateful and humbled by each and every one! Our goal is to have the space completed and ready to be lived in by December 1st!
