Ballinagh Christmas Lights

Ballinagh Christmas Lights Committee was established in 1999 as prior to that there were no Christmas Lights in the town. Since then a small dedicated committee has fundraised from the generosity of the local community to ensure there are Christmas Lights for everyone to enjoy.
In these difficult times we understand the financial pressure everyone is under but any donation is welcome. We believe that Christmas lights help raise people's spirits and mood and so there has never been a greater need for them than this year.
As we cant undertake our usual fundraising activities this Gofundme page might be the only real way for us to fundraise the costs of erecting the town's lights. The costs are considerable each year to cover the following:
1) have a certified electrician erect and test the lights
2) Insurance costs
3) Replace damaged or worn out lights
4) Electricity cost in running the lights
If you are at home or abroad please support this campaign we really need your support. The lights benefit young and old not just in Ballinagh town but in the neighbouring communities also. Thank you for your generosity.
