Baking for the homeless and food insecure

Donation protected
After losing my job in March due to Covid-19, I struggled to find a path forward. In September, thanks to the grace and generosity of good friends, I moved to Portland, Oregon.
This move has changed my life. The sense of community, of true mutual aid is overwhelming. People helping their neighbors, providing the things needed to survive these troubling times. I had to be a part.
I have been a baker most of my life, 20 years professionally. I love bread! This is what I could do, had to do. I started breadblocpdx to provide fresh baked bread to my community. Baking from home, up to 50 loaves a week now, traveling with a wagon, delivering goodness.

But, I need help. I'm surviving on Social Security and a few more weeks of unemployment. It's enough to pay bills, but barely more. With the help of friends and a few donations, and what I can afford, I have made it this far.
Please, help us grow! The need is great here, as it is in so many communities. All I want to do with the time I have left in this life is help people. Please, help with whatever you can!
Thank you!
