BAKE4CHANGE

Since watching the most devastating and completely heartbreaking video showing the murder of George Floyd earlier this week and seeing how Belly Mujinga's case was treated i have not been able to stop thinking about them and their families.

Some people may never personally experience the pain and fear that many black people in various countries go through every day but Nelson Mandela once said "No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite " Nobody should have to live in fear and nobody deserves a death like George Floyd or Belly Munjinga and too all the other peoples who's names have not been heard they also deserve justice.

I have decided to start a BAKE4CHANGE campaign to encourage people to bake whilst also doing something for a great cause. It is £10 to enter but of course you do not have to bake and you can still donate as much as you wish. The profits will go to ROTA = Race On The Agenda who targets policy and legislation affecting Britain's BAME communities and the BAME and equality third sector. I have chosen this charity as I believe it is important now more than ever for the government to realise that more legislation which protects and serves the best interests of my community need to be passed. 

We can no longer sit back and ignore the fact that racism is not a problem we need to keep sharing, keep watching, keep speaking out, because it’s the only way we can come together to help bring this much needed change and awareness.
