Bailee & Amelia's campaign for Guide Dogs NSW/ACT
Georgie and I are trying to teach the girls about the importance of raising money for charity and we have set them a goal to raise a certain amount of money for their chosen charities over the next 5 years. They have raised money through lemonade stands, collecting bottles to recycle for money and put some of their pocket money and tooth fairy money towards their charities. They are taking part in the Sydney colour run this Sunday which is a 5 km run while paint is getting launched at you and they are both going to try and run the whole way for the guide dogs. Both the girls absolutely love dogs which is why they have chosen this charity. The girls would appreciate it if you could support them with this venture, just $2 - $5 is plenty per person as they would like to get more people donating small amounts to get as many people supporting them as possible
More information about Guide Dogs NSW/ACT: Every day, 28 Australians are diagnosed with uncorrectable vision loss. Of those, 9 will become blind. Through the support of people like you, we can assist more people with vision impairment and prevent avoidable sight loss. Only 1 in 4 people who need a Guide Dog have one and countless others are in need of our services. Together we can transform lives by enhancing the independence and mobility of Australians living with vision loss.
