Back to School Backpack Block Party

My name is Edward Deshazer, Executive Director at Greater Holy Temple Christian Academy. My purpose in life is to help serve the children in Milwaukee, WI. Last year, I made a goal to give away 1000 backpacks (filled with supplies) to children in the city of Milwaukee. We held a block party on the streets surrounding Jake's Deli and gave away close to 700 backpacks to children. This party was done with three weeks of planning.

This year, we will be holding our 2nd Annual Backpack Block Party and I want to give away the full 1000 backpacks to Milwaukee children and I need your help.

Each backpack costs me $8 and comes pre-filled with supplies. I have set a goal of $4,000 and my company will personally match the other $4,000 to purchase the 1000 backpacks. Any amount helps!

Kids across Milwaukee show up to school unprepared every year. Help be a difference maker in getting them the start they deserve!
