Back 2 School Back Pack Giveaway

Hello! My name is Sophie Marie, and I am the proud founder of Black Owned Birmingham CIC. We are commited to running a yearly campaign, that supports the most marginalised children in and around Birmingham U.K, and we're excited to announce our 2023 campaign to donate 1000 backpacks filled with supplies to secondary school students.

Over the past few years we have been able to provide backpacks filled with essential school supplies to over 800 children. Our goal is to continue this tradition and help even more students start the new academic year with confidence and success. By doing so, we aim to alleviate the financial burden on families who may struggle to afford these items. It's our mission to ensure that every student has access to the resources they need to thrive.

Each backpack costs just over £17 to put together and will be filled with essential school supplies such as pens, pencils, rulers, calculators, and notepads. The backpacks will be donated on Friday 25th August, and the last day to sign up is August 14th, 2023. The only restrictions for the giveaway are that the child needs to reside or attend a secondary school in Birmingham (or Sandwell, Walsall, Wolverhampton) and be over the age of 11, as the products are sourced specifically for secondary school students.

These backpacks are available to any child regardless of sex or race.

We've already secured some supplies for the backpacks, but we need your help to ensure that we can reach as many students as possible. Your donations will be used to purchase backpacks and essential school supplies.

We are also looking for donations of these items from individuals, companies, or organisations that would like to support our cause.

By donating to this campaign, you'll be making a real difference in the lives of children in Birmingham. Any amount, no matter how small, will help us reach our goal of providing 1000 backpacks to students in need. Let's work together to help these students succeed!
