The IVF Fund For Baby Evans

My husband and I have been married for 1.5 years but we have been a couple for 7.5 years now.  We have been trying to start a family for a while but before we were married I was diagnosed with fertility issues and we knew it would be difficult getting pregnant. I have now been told by two doctors that IVF (in vitro fertilization) is the best option for us at this point. We met in Columbus, Ohio (Go Bucks) but now we are living in Lexington, Kentucky (Go Cats). We love reading books, watching movies and most of all spending time with each other and our dogs: Cooper and Parker.
     My husband, Joshua is an ophthalmology resident at the University of Kentucky and even though he is a doctor he is actually still in training and we are still paying off his large amount of medical school debt. I (Rebecca) am a veterinary technician and we are both working hard to save for our much needed fertility treatments.
     We have health insurance but unfortunately they do not cover the cost for anything fertility related, plus they do not even have a reproductive endocrinologist in network. We have found a shared risk program at a highly recognized institute in Cincinnati. They offer 6 IVF cycles for the price of 2.25 cycles and if we do not have a child in our arms by the end then we will get 70% of our money back. We are hoping to raise a minimum of $12,000.
    I want more than anything to be able to feel the joy of holding my baby and even experience the pains of childbirth. I want to see all the things I love about my husband in our child. He is going to make a wonderful father and I can't wait to be able to tell him that it is going to happen. We have hope that someday there will be a little baby Evans in our arms.  However, in the event Joshua and I are unable to get pregnant we will use the refund for adoption fees. 
     In the future we will have the ability to pay it forward and help give other couples the chance at having a baby with IVF, but today we are asking you to help give us a chance. Any donations are greatly appreciated, we know there is strength in numbers and every little bit helps. If you are unable to donate at this time please help spread the word. This process has been stressful and heartbreaking for us and while we continue to think positively we ask that you add us to your prayers.
