We are Roddy and Ros, a crazy-in-love couple living on the Texas Gulf Coast. It has been a wild ride since we got together, but all the trials we have faced have made us stronger than ever. We're settling in to our new life now and we're SO happy to have finally found our other half, partner and best friend for life! There's just one missing piece to this magnificent puzzle... While Roddy already has two beautiful kids, Ros doesn't, and we'd love to add one more to the family.
Unfortunately, due to various medical issues on both sides we will not have any happy surprise baby bundles in our future. It was very hard coming to terms with the fact that we will never experience an unexpected pink line on a test. We've met with doctors and specialists and... It comes down to money. With $15,000 we can undergo IVF treatment (our only option). Without it we'll never be able to complete this beautiful puzzle and Ros will never know the joy of carrying our child. We have everything we could want in the world, we have a fantastic life but what we don't have is $15,000 or any way of getting our hands on that kind of money any time soon and that's where (we hope) you'll come in...
We set up this page as a donation site to work along with our other funding efforts. Ros - a full-time Police Dispatcher - also works on the side completing website projects for the "baby fund". We've done major yard sales and we have saved close to $3,000 on our own, but at the rate we're going it's going to be years before we reach our goal, and time is something we don't have according to our doctor who has told us that we need to be ready to move forward by August/September 2013 at the latest for the best possibility of success. We're foregoing birthday gifts until we reach our goal and instead asking family and friends to donate what they were possibly planning on spending on a gift to this site. We are also hoping that you might find it in your heart to help us reach our goal. Every little bit helps, dollar by dollar, step by step we're going to make this happen, no matter how long it takes, but given this new time limit your assistance could speed us on our journey. :)
