Once upon a time...
Andy and Ashlee Case wished to have a family. They tried for years and years.
They tried dancing the tango in many ways. They tried eating different foods. They tried wearing different clothes. They wished upon shooting stars and rabbit's feet, but to no avail. As many years passed, Andy and Ashlee just could not figure out what they were doing wrong!
Finally, they decided they would visit the old doctor in the small village of UW. After many tests, and a little poking and proding, the doctor had come to his conclusion...but it was not good news.
"Oh, dear Andy," he said, "You don't have any swimmers!"
Andy asked the doctor if he could be fixed. However, the doctor was forced to break the news to Andy and Ashlee that they could never have a baby on their own.
Andy and Ashlee were very sad.
"But wait!," the doctor said. "I have a magic laboratory, where I can concoct a baby for you!" Andy and Ashlee were ecstatic!
"We have tried for 5 years to have a little Case of our own! When can we create this legendary baby?" Ashlee asked the doctor.
The doctor explained that they could begin right away, but it was going to cost them. 1 zillion shillings! Andy and Ashlee were once again sad, as they did not have 1 zillion shillings. They didn't even have 1 shilling. Andy and Ashlee went home and thought, "How can we possibly get so many shillings?"
Discouraged, Andy and Ashlee went to speak to the town sage. He MUST know how to help.
He assured them that they can not always do things on their own. Sometimes you have to ask for help. The wise old man told them of a magical land...a land where your wildest dreams can come true!
"Go to the land of GoFundMe," he said. "Be humble, and tell people your story, and you may find the help you're looking for...".
