Honoring Baby Zuhryii

So my best friend, Lacey, found out she was pregnant and was ecstatic! She has two boys and we were all praying for a baby girl! When it came time to find out the sex of the baby, we celebrated with the news that she was in deed having a girl! But along with the celebration we had to strengthen our prayers. Lacey was told that their could be some complications and it appeared that the baby may have had a condition called Trisomy 13, but they weren’t sure. After weeks and weeks of testing she was told that the baby, Zuhryii, had a cleft palate along with the Trisomy 13, which can be fatal to infants. We prayed and prayed and received that miracles would come, but God had a different plan. Zuhryii was found without a heartbeat on December 30, 2017. We are asking for prayers of comfort and understanding during a very difficult time for Lacey, Bobby, and Lacey’s two boys along with all of their family and friends. The money that is being collected is going towards the hospital bills, the extensive testing to find out the results of the Trisomy 13, the funeral costs and the burial. We appreciate all of the support and prayers thus far, and ask that they please continue.

But Jesus called them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.”
Luke 16:18
