Baby Jensen Medical fund

Brett and McKenzie Mortensen set off on a work incentive trip to Maui, Hawaii mid January to enjoy one last couples vacation prior to the expected birth of their first child in April.  A short visit to the beautiful island turned into a three month unexpected stay when their son decided he wanted Hawaii on his birth certificate by arriving 13 weeks early!  Just a couple days into the trip on  January 16th weighting just 2 pounds 10 ounzes and 14.76 inches long baby Jensen Brett Mortensen was born. He then was life flighted from Maui to Honolulu, Hawaii where he will receive care from the neonatal intensive care unit.  The family will reside on the island for the next few months until baby Jensen is able to travel back home to Utah where Brett and Mckenzie live.  We have started a fundraiser to ease the unexpected additional financial burdens for this new family.  All donations will go directly to the family to help offset the loss of income, costs of living in the most expensive city in Hawaii, and additional medical expenses.  Please consider joining us by giving this family a welcome home they deserve!  Congratulations to Brett and Mckenzie as they celebrate baby Jensen's arrival!
