Baby Jenkins Adoption

Hi y'all! I've set up an account to help my friends Janae and Dan fulfill their dreams of becoming a mom and dad. They started this journey in 2017 having been chosen by a birth mom. They paid for part of the mother's health bills, the attorney fees, the adoption agency fees and travel to Michigan to pick up their newborn. However, after being there for a week, their dreams were shattered when the mom decided to keep her baby. They were heartbroken but still owed money. In 2018, another birth mom chose them to be parents to her baby and again, after going to pick him up, the birth father came forward not willing to relinquish his rights. The bills piled up and they've worked, fundraised and come up with over $40,000 paid to the adoption agency in California for now two babies who were stripped from them. After agony and sadness for the last year and a half, God stepped in unexpectedly and their beautiful bundle of love was entrusted to them to nurture, grow and teach. It truly is a miracle how it came to be. The agency they've paid $40,000 to is not the agency who placed the adoption. Instead it was a loving organization in Idaho who came to them after hearing about them from the home study and made their dreams come true. As you know, adoption can be very expensive, and they still need some funds to complete the process. They've discounted $8,000 in fees, but they still asked for $20,000 in other fees. Dan was deployed a few weeks ago and will not be returning home until April. This is when he will get to hold his baby for the first time. He does enjoy nightly facetime with Janae and the baby and can't stop smiling from ear to ear! In the meantime, Janae is staying with her family in Las Vegas until he returns in which they will all return to Idaho to raise their little boy, Todd. 

If you have it in your heart to give to this precious family and help them start their family without the stress of money, they would be forever grateful. Just think of it as a baby shower gift. Instead of a blanket or diapers, help pay for the adoption instead...what a gift!  I do believe Heavenly Father meant for this little guy to be part of their family forever. I'm excited to watch him grow and become all he was meant to be.
