Cancer Survivor Baby Surrogate Fund

A journey begins with one step, a leap of faith, and a heart full of hope. My journey began 2 years ago when cervical/ uterine cancer stole my dream of ever carrying my own child.  But as with everything in life we must survive and we must fight to thrive. That fight Is what has gotten me through to this very day. But my journey and my fight has just begun. As many know I was able to freeze an embryo of my own at the Unversity of Iowa hospital, but due to  cancer my uterus had to be removed to save my life. The surgery was a success,  however In order for my dream of becoming a mother to come true I now need a gestational carrier to carry my child for me. Unfortunately I have to raise all of the funds to pay for the surrogate mother myself as my insurance covers non of it;( I must pay for the screening, contracts, medical expenses, and above all the compensation to pay the Surrogate for caring my child which is the most expensive part of all. I may have fought Cancer , but this is one fight I absolutely cannot do alone;(. Here is to hope, and to helping me bring life to my dream baby. Thank you with all of my heart and God bless;)!!!
