Ethan has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). This means that Ethan's heart only has one effective chamber (his right chamber).
He will need to have three surgeries over the course of his life, Two this year and the third @4-5 years. The surgery completed on April 19th 2019 when he was 4 days old was the first of three in Norwood procedure surgeries .
The insurance will cover the majority of the cost however, the out of pocket expenses are expected to exceed $50,000. The funds will be used to help cover the out of pocket expenses for the family.
Funds are needed immediately as these bills are already stacking up.
