Baby Broxxton NICU stay

On March 26th 2018, our sweet nephew Broxxton Scott Petersen was born. He was born at 36 weeks by emergency C-section. What was supposed to be a routine doctor appointment turned into a very scary situation. Tori ( Broxxton's mom) was rushed to the hospital by ambulance, and in order to save Broxxton they immediately did a c-section. Broxxton was placed in the NICU. Like most babies born prematurely his little lungs are not fully developed. Over night baby Broxxton stopped breathing. The amazing doctors were able to get him back on track and he currently is breathing with assistance and medications. Megan and I wanted to set up this page to help Tori and Erik. The average cost of delivery at 40 weeks is about $3,000 The cost of having a premature baby that has a week stay in the NICU is about $25,000. Having a new baby is exciting and stressful all in same moment. We wanted to help take some of the financial burden off of these two so they can focus on Brynn ( their 15 mo) and baby Broxxton. We appreciate any and all help you are willing to donate. Sometimes it takes a village to make things work... so we are asking our village to help! I will keep you all posted on Broxxton's progress.
