On January 30th, 2019 we welcomed our baby boy into this world, Brenden Charles. Due to various complications during labor, Brenden was airlifted to John Hopkins All Children's Hospital after being born. He was completely brain dead, all his activity was strictly seizures. We were told we would have very little time with him, so leaving his side was out of the question. For seven long weeks, we were in the NICU watching his slow progression. Every day Brenden got a little bit stronger and stronger. Stunning the doctors and nurses alike, baby boy Brenden is making a comeback, but he has a long road ahead. Being unable to leave his side, we have closed our family owned coffee shop “The Green Bean Coffee House," in Sarasota, FL. Please help our family get back on our feet, reopen our Shop and get Brenden the help he deserves. We are true believers in the “pay it forward” philosophy, and we look forward to returning the favor.
