Frank and Maybel are two front liners working at Mount Sinai Medical Center ER working through the COVD-19 pandemic, saving lives one day at a time. They are the beloved parents of two adorable girls, Alicia and Amelia. It was about two weeks ago, when their lives would change forever.
Frank and Maybel noticed their daughter had some unusual swelling to the right eye, they took her to get checked at Nicklaus Children's and were faced with a parents worse nightmare. Their eldest daughter, 2- year old Alicia, had been diagnosed with Childhood Rhabdomyosarcoma.
The oncology team at Nicklaus Children worked quickly and have already started Alicia on the proper treatments for a fighting chance.
We are asking everyone to come together and show their support by helping us raise money for the medical expenses that they are about to encounter.

Frank and Maybel son enfermeros en la emergencia de Mount Sinai Medical Center, trabajando durante el tiempo de la pandemia de COVID-19.
Son padres de dos niñas, Alicia y Amelia. Fue hace dos semanas, que la vida de ellos cambiaria para siempre.
Frank y Maybel notaron que su niña tenia inflamación en el ojo derecho. La llevaron a Nicklaus Children's y en ese momento enfrentarían la pesadilla mas grande que podrían tener como padres.
Su hija, Alicia, apenas cumpliendo 2 años, la diagnosticaron con cancer Infantil Rabdomiosarcoma.
El equipo de oncólogos en Nicklaus Children's actuaron rápido y Alicia ya esta recibiendo los tratamientos necesarios para salir adelante.
Estamos pidiendo que como un equipo que tanto quiere a Frank y Maybel, que nos ayuden a recoger fundos para que ellos puedan pagar los gastos medicos a los que pronto se enfrentaran.
