Patrick's flood damage
Donation protected
Hey everyone. My name is Adam, I live in Houston, TX. You've probably heard a lot on the news lately about all the flooding that has been going on lately in Houston. Luckily my home is fine, but a good friend of mine has not been as lucky.
This is my friend Patrick and his wife Rachel, and they have two beautiful girls. Patrick and I have been close friends for 12 years or so. Their whole life was turned upside down by the flooding on April 17th. They had somewhere between 12 and 14 inches of water flow into their home. Their entire street became a river.
This is what their lives have become today. Their home is unlivable. Possessions that took a lot of working and money to get, ruined. Christmas gifts they had gotten their girls, soaked. Their entire home is sitting in a pile of trash at their curb. Worst of all, their renter's insurance, which they were told would cover rising water, apparently doesn't cover naturally rising water, so they won't get anything there.
Please help me help him. Whatever you can give will help. You'd be doing a good thing for a good man and a great family. Thank you, and God bless all of you.
