HOLLY WEIR is 8 years old and suffers from RETT SYNDROME. Rett is the most severe form of AUTISM that mainly affects girls. It is a condition that halts normal progress and affects hand movement and speech, and over 50% of people with Rett Syndrome suffer from some form of epileptic seizures.
Holly was diagnosed with Rett at the age of 3 and her condition - whilst controlled - limits her everyday life.
THE HOLLY ROSE TRUST has been set up with one main aim: to raise enough funds to provide a downstairs bedroom and bathroom to provide Holly with a better quality of life. This will provide great assistance to Holly’s parents each day, and provide some comfort as she will no longer need to be carried upstairs.
Holly is a fun loving child who despite this condition enjoys interacting with other kids and always has a smile on her face.
With all your help and support together we can help raise awareness of this critical condition and help make a family's day to day life much better.
