Justice for Atwater
Donation protected
Henderson Atwater has endured nearly three years of incarceration in Wake County jail, facing a trial on 17 counts without a single conviction with additional charges to fight. Throughout this excruciating period, he experienced heartbreaking losses, including losing his beloved mother and teenage son, both of whom passed while he remained incarcerated. Tragically, he could not attend their funeral services and pay his respects to his loved ones due to his incarceration. Adding to this injustice, Henderson cannot view a recording of his son's funeral, as his son tragically passed away while in law enforcement custody within the same jail.
Please consider supporting Henderson Atwater in his legal defense efforts, ensuring he has access to a strong legal team and necessary experts to secure a fair acquittal on all charges, allowing him to reunite with his family.
Henderson’s case is a stark reminder of the disparities within our justice system, where well-funded defendants often have the upper hand, while underprivileged individuals, particularly Black individuals, face systemic challenges when charged with crimes.
Your contribution will make a significant difference in helping Henderson attain the justice he rightfully deserves. Any funds not used to fund Henderson’s legal defense directly will be paid out to Henderson upon his release to support a successful re-entry into the community.
Thank you in advance for your support.
