A Daughter needs her Dad

My name is Wayman Q Jones, I am loving father of 2 beautiful young children. I have a 12 year old daughter who will be 13 July 25th and my son is 5. I was working in Houston, TX for the last 2 years, as an electrical apprentice in construction and engineering my contract just ended May 2018. I am currently living back in Atlanta where my journey originally started. Currently I am working for a Refrigeration and Gasket company. I got a job within a week of being back in Atlanta. I work hard and love my children harder.
The purpose for my Go Fund Me is to assist with my lawyer fees to gain parental rights of my 12-year-old daughter who is currently living in Seattle, WA. I have always been heavily involved in her life since her birth. Unfortunately, her mother and her I have never been married and due to how her mothered handled the situation when she was born I was not granted to the opportunity to sign her birth certificate. A private paternity test was taken, but since it was not court appointed it will not work in favor in regard to seek custody. My daughters mother has been incarcerated since 2009, at that time her Grandmother took custody and everything was going good for a while. Things took a turn in 2013 when her Grandmother would start to move and I would not be notified until my daughter called. I thank God for the strong Father, Daughter bond and relationship we have, because she would always find a way to call me and let me know her whereabouts and safety. In 2014 there was a dead space of about 6 months where I didn’t hear from my daughter or her grandmother, numbers were changed and the last address had a for rent sign. Out the blue my daughter called me to inform me that they moved to Seattle and that she was safe but was ready to live with me now. I have made several attempts to work out some kind of arrangements to allow me to be a part of her life physically and not just financially. For the 1st time since 2014 her Grandmother allowed me to visit for a week during her Christmas break 2017. It broke my heart to see the pain in her eyes knowing that she wanted to come back with and that we both didn’t know when we would see each other again. The mother and grandmother have made it clear to me the only way I can be a part of her life is to get a lawyer and go through the courts. So, that is what I am doing.
I have reached out to The Dickson Frohlich Law Firm to represent me. All funds will go towards lawyer fees and traveling expenses from state to state for court dates. My baby girl changed my life for the better, everything I do is for my children. I feel like wouldn’t be a good father if I didn’t do everything I could to make her life better. That's why I am reaching out for help. To those that know how passionate I am about my daughter, you know I would go to any means necessary!
