Azula's Emergency Surgery

My name is Cassandra, and I'm looking for any and all help to pay for my dog Azula's emergency surgery costs. Writing this and even considering asking for help is something I never wanted to do, or thought I would ever do. Although this is extremely embarrassing for me, especially being one of the last people to ever ask anyone for anything, my dog means the absolute world to me. So here I am, asking for help to lessen the financial burden of affording her emergency vet care.

On April 6th, my mother was watching Azula for the night and noticed she didn't really eat her food, was having issues going to the bathroom, and acting out of character. I got Azula back on April 7th, and my mom said she still hasn't eaten her food, and was acting the same as the previous night. Her primary vet was already closed so I had left a message requesting an emergency appointment if possible for the following morning. By morning Azula's symptoms were still the same, adding vomiting once I to the mix, and an extremely bloated belly. Unfortunately her vet immediately referred us to Port City Emergency Veterinary. Once at Port City after an emergency exam, bloodwork, multiple ultrasounds, sedation, and other tests they referred us out to Andover Emergency Veterinary for emergency surgery for a severely infected uterus, and fluid accumulation with the possibility of rupturing. Thankfully it was caught early enough. Unfortunately, the visit to Port City alone killed me financially. Luckily I had a family member able and willing to help with the funds until I can pay them back, but paying everything out of pocket after exhausting care credit options, and now paying for the surgery/visit at Andover Veterinary is just barely possible. My credit cards are maxed out, and we've exhausted all other money immediately available to us. I'm asking for anything to help lessen the burden, wether that's just thinking about our dog Azula, sending love, prayers, or any donation helps. Although these past couple days have been tough, I know I am very blessed to be able to have my dog come home with me at the end of this, and I will be forever thankful for anything. Thank you. ❤️
