Hola, mi nombre es Beatriz Lucena y él es mi esposo, Jesús Cueva. Quiero compartir nuestra historia con ustedes. Hemos estado juntos por más de 28 años, viviendo una vida normal como cualquier pareja, unidos en las buenas y en las malas. Hemos luchado día a día por alcanzar nuestros sueños y proyectos, siempre dando lo mejor de nosotros mismos.
Hace algún tiempo, comencé a notar cambios extraños en el comportamiento de Jesús. Pasaba de un estado de ánimo a otro, y poco a poco, empezó a olvidar cosas que acababa de hacer.
Mi preocupación crecía cada día más. Un día, Jesús me desconoció por completo y supe que algo estaba realmente mal. Lo llevé urgentemente al doctor y fue entonces cuando recibimos la devastadora noticia: Jesús tiene un tumor en su cerebro, conocido como LOE INTRAVENTRICULAR SUBEPENDIMOMA, que debe ser extirpado con urgencia.
Gracias a Dios, hemos conseguido parte de los materiales necesarios para la operación en el hospital de nuestra ciudad. Sin embargo, necesitamos de la bondad de sus corazones, ya que debemos alquilar algunos equipos médicos que la unidad de Neurocirugia del hospital no tiene. El costo de este alquiler es de 6,000 dólares.

I began to notice strange changes in Jesus' behavior. He went from one mood to another, and little by little, he began to forget things he had just done. My concern grew more every day. One day, Jesus completely disowned me and I knew something was really wrong. I urgently took him to the doctor and that was when we received the devastating news: Jesus has a tumor in his brain, known as LOE INTRAVENTRICULAR SUBEPENDYMOMA, which must be urgently removed.
Thank God, we have obtained part of the materials necessary for the operation at the hospital in our city. However, we need the kindness of his heart as we need to rent some medical equipment that the hospital's Neurology unit does not have. The cost of this rental is $6,000.
