Esta es la historia de nuestra pequeña ALBANY LUCÍA, tiene 1 año y medio de edad. Ella es el rayito de sol más esperado de sus padres Osmar González y Thairí Oropeza y de toda nuestra familia. Cuando todo parecía indicar que no iban a poder ser padres, recibieron el hermoso milagro de Albany en sus vidas el 06 de marzo de 2019.
El pasado 5 de octubre de 2020, sus padres llevaron a Albany a una consulta de rutina con su pediatra. En esta consulta se detectó por 1era vez una masa anómala del lado del riñón derecho. Su pediatra ordenó realizarle con urgencia una serie de estudios y exámenes médicos que concluyeron con el lamentable diagnóstico de un NEUROBLASTOMA ABDOMINAL (TUMOR MALIGNO DE ALTO RIESGO EN LA GLÁNDULA SUPRARRENAL DERECHA). Es un tipo de cáncer muy agresivo que suele presentarse en niños.
Albany debe ser ¡INTERVENIDA CON URGENCIA! debido a la agresividad y la velocidad con la que se desarrolla este cáncer; posterior a ello deben continuar con una serie de muchos estudios y análisis que confirmarán el diagnostico: Resección de la lesión con muestreo de ganglios linfáticos y toma de biopsias de médula ósea, para luego recibir tratamiento de quimioterapia según lo indiquen los análisis, después de la intervención.
En medio del dolor por este lamentable diagnostico para nuestra pequeña, nos encontramos buscando los recursos económicos para poder ayudar a su salvar su vida.
Es por ello que hemos optado por solicitar colaboración por este medio. Actualmente los padres de Albany se encuentran en Venezuela. Osmar González (papá de Albany) trabaja como mecánico de autos y Thairí Oropeza (Mamá de Albany) se encuentra desempleada por motivo de la pandemia. A ellos les es imposible cubrir los montos que se requieren para esta difícil intervención en medio de la situación que lamentablemente vive el país.
Todo el dinero que se logre recaudar será destinado para cubrir los gastos de la intervención, estudios pre y post a la operación, procedimientos de quimioterapias, alimentación etc. Todos los cuidados que requerirá la niña durante este duro proceso.

This is the story of our little ALBANY LUCÍA, she is 1 and a half years old. She is the most awaited ray of sunshine from her parents Osmar González and Thairí Oropeza and from our entire family. When everything seemed to indicate that they were not going to be able to be parents, they received the beautiful Albany miracle in their lives on March 6, 2019.
On October 5, 2020, her parents took Albany for a routine visit with her pediatrician. In this consultation, an abnormal mass was detected for the first time on the right kidney side. Her pediatrician urgently ordered a series of studies and medical examinations that concluded with the regrettable diagnosis of an ABDOMINAL NEUROBLASTOMA (HIGH-RISK MALIGNANT TUMOR IN THE RIGHT ADRENAL GLAND). It is a very aggressive type of cancer that usually occurs in children.
Albany NEEDS AN URGENT SURGICAL INTERVENTION due to the aggressiveness and speed with which this cancer develops; After that, they should continue with a series of many studies and analyzes that will confirm the diagnosis: Resection of the lesion with sampling of lymph nodes and taking bone marrow biopsies, and then receive chemotherapy treatment as indicated by the analyzes, after the intervention.
In the midst of the pain due to this unfortunate diagnosis for our little girl, we find ourselves looking for the financial resources to help her save her life.
That is why we have chosen to request collaboration by this means. Albany's parents are currently in Venezuela. Osmar González (Albany father) works as a car mechanic and Thairí Oropeza (Albany mother) is unemployed due to the pandemic. It is impossible for them to cover the amounts required for this difficult intervention in the midst of the situation that the country is unfortunately experiencing.
All the money that is raised will be used to cover the expenses of the intervention, pre and post-operation studies, chemotherapy procedures, food, etc. All the care that the girl will require during this hard process.
