AYUDANOS A SALVAR ESTA ALDEA
Mi nombre es Navalquejigo, una preciosa aldea situada en la sierra noroeste de Madrid,donde viven conmigo desde hace mas de 20 años unos peculiares vecinos, habiendo sido reconstruida y recuperada desde sus ruinas por ellos mismos a lo largo de todo éste tiempo, utilizando las propias piedras y materiales que aquí se encontraban, devolviéndome a la vida con el aspecto natural y rural de antaño, y del que les quieren echar inmediatamente si no presentan contestación legal, dejándoles sin hogar justo en medio de la pandemia del Coronavirus.
Mis habitantes y yo os pedimos ayuda mediante Crowdfounding ya que las nuevas normativas y requerimientos sociales debido al Coronavirus no nos permite realizar los eventos en los que recolectamos los donativos de los asistentes.
Las primeras señas de asentamiento humano en la zona datan del siglo II a.C, pero no sería pueblo hasta que unos segovianos me fundaron en el siglo XI. Desde entonces, multitud de sucesos y eventos históricos me dieron forma hasta que en 1989 fui abandonada definitivamente por los habitantes originales, a merced de saqueos y destrozos, hasta que un grupo de personas decidieron no permitirlo más, y recuperar poco a poco el espacio y sus casas, devolviéndome la vida que merezco y conservando un entorno repleto de reliquias como la iglesia, el pilón o la picota, recuerdos maravillosos de los siglos XIII al XIX que estaban despareciendo y que me dieron el merecido titulo de “Bien de interés cultural” en 2006.
Después de más de20 años reconstruyendo y viviendo aquí, están intentando echar a mis repobladores. Las casas estaban en ruinas cuando llegaron y el espacio completamente abandonado, pero en los últimos años los terrenos han sido comprados por una gran inmobiliaria, que ahora pretende que se marchen inmediatamente, dejando atrás años de trabajo, tiempo y dinero invertidos, para derruir éste pedazo de historia y construir sobre él, condenando al olvido su belleza y sus monumentos históricos.
Os pedimos ayuda para los costes del juicio al que nos enfrentamos para tratar de evitar que desparezca, o por lo menos para que se pueda presentar contestación legal e intentar que no se produzca un desalojo justo ahora en tiempos del Coronavirus, dejando a mis habitantes en una situación precaria, especialmente con la incertidumbre y dificultades que ésta pandemia está trayendo por la ausencia de trabajo y estabilidad. Con vuestra ayuda, podremos hacer frente a los costes del abogado, y tratar de salvar ésta aldea que tanto trabajo ha costado recuperar, o por lo menos, tratar de ganar el tiempo suficiente para que las personas que aquí viven puedan encontrar una alternativa de vida que no les deje en una situación precaria.... muchas gracias por el apoyo!
HELP US SAVE THIS LITTLE VILLAGE
My name is Navalquejigo, a beautiful little village located in the northwest mountains of Madrid, where some peculiar neighbors have lived with me for more than 20 years, having been rebuilt and recovered from its ruins by themselves throughout all this time, using their own stones and materials that were found here, bringing me back to life with the natural and rural aspect of the old days, and from which they want to immediately throw them out if they do not present a legal response, leaving them homeless right in the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic.
My inhabitants and I ask you for help through Crowdfounding since the new regulations and social requirements due to the Coronavirus do not allow us to carry out the events in which we collect donations from attendees.
The first signs of human settlement in the area date back to the 2nd century BC, but it would not be a town until some Segovians founded me in the 11th century. Since then, a multitude of historical events shaped me until in 1989 I was definitively abandoned by the original inhabitants, at the mercy of looting and destruction, until a group of people decided not to allow it anymore, and to recover little by little the space and their houses, giving me back the life I deserve and preserving an environment full of relics such as the church, the pylon or the pillory, wonderful memories of the thirteenth to nineteenth centuries that were disappearing and they gave me the deserved title of "Asset of cultural interest" in 2006.
After more than 20 years rebuilding and living here, they are trying to kick out my settlers. The houses were in ruins when they arrived and the space completely abandoned, but in recent years the land has been bought by a large real estate company, which now wants them to leave immediately, leaving behind years of work, time and money invested, to demolish it piece of history and build on it, condemning its beauty and its historical monuments to oblivion.
We ask for your help with the costs of the trial we are facing to try to prevent it from disappearing, or at least so that a legal response can be filed and try not to have an eviction take place right now in times of the Coronavirus, leaving my inhabitants in a precarious situation, especially with the uncertainty and difficulties that this pandemic is bringing due to the absence of work and stability. With your help, we will be able to face the costs of the lawyer, and try to save this village that has cost so much to recover, or at least, try to buy enough time so that the people who live here can find an alternative life do not leave them in a precarious situation .... thank you!
