¡Ayúdame a vencer el cáncer! Help me beat cancer

Mi nombre es Carolina Solis Sánchez y en mayo de este año fui diagnosticada con Cáncer Cérvico Uterino en tercera fase. Actualmente estoy en tratamiento con quimioterapia y radioterapia en un hospital privado, pero los costos son muy altos y ya no cuento con los recursos necesarios.

Conoce mi historia:

El 1 de mayo ingresé a cirugía con la esperanza de terminar con meses de dolores y sangrados. Pensaba que por fin encontraría alivio, pero los médicos encontraron algo inesperado: el cáncer. La cirugía se suspendió y desde ese momento comenzó un camino difícil que nunca imaginé.

Me enviaron al Hospital General, donde después de la biopsia me confirmaron el diagnóstico de Carcinoma Epidermoide poco diferenciado invasor de cérvix. Ahí me dijeron que necesitaba quimioterapia y radioterapia, pero no podían atenderme porque no contaban con radioterapia. Me dirigí entonces al Hospital Juárez de México, y la respuesta fue similar: no había medicamentos ni equipo funcionando.

Ir de hospital en hospital, hacer largas filas, esperar horas con dolor y al final salir sin una solución, ha sido un desgaste físico, emocional y económico muy fuerte. Mientras tanto, el dolor se ha vuelto más intenso y constante, al punto de impedirme trabajar en mi tienda de regalos, que era mi principal fuente de ingresos.

Finalmente, el 31 de julio en un hospital privado me dieron un plan de tratamiento: 5 sesiones de quimioterapia y 25 de radioterapia. Sin embargo, los gastos no se limitan solo a estas sesiones. También debo cubrir transfusiones, medicamentos para controlar el dolor, terapias de apoyo, una dieta oncológica especial y transporte constante. Todo esto hace que los costos se multipliquen y resulten imposibles de cubrir con mis recursos.

He intentado sostenerme organizando rifas y vendiendo cosas, pero los recursos ya se agotaron. Por eso recurro con humildad a ustedes: cada donativo, grande o pequeño, es una oportunidad para continuar mi tratamiento, aliviar el dolor y mantener la esperanza.

Here is my story:

On May 1, I went into surgery hoping to end months of pain and bleeding. I thought I would finally find relief, but the doctors found something unexpected: cancer. The surgery was canceled, and from that moment on, I began a difficult journey that I never imagined.

I was sent to the General Hospital, where after a biopsy, they confirmed the diagnosis of poorly differentiated invasive squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix. There, they told me I needed chemotherapy and radiation therapy, but they couldn't treat me because they didn't have radiation therapy. I then went to the Juárez Hospital in Mexico City, and the response was similar: there were no medications or equipment available.

Going from hospital to hospital, standing in long lines, waiting for hours in pain, and ultimately leaving without a solution has been physically, emotionally, and financially draining. Meanwhile, the pain has become more intense and constant, to the point of preventing me from working at my gift shop, which was my main source of income.

Finally, on July 31, a private hospital gave me a treatment plan: five chemotherapy sessions and 25 radiation therapy sessions. However, the expenses are not limited to these sessions. I also have to cover transfusions, pain medication, supportive therapies, a special cancer diet, and constant transportation. All of this multiplies the costs and makes them impossible to cover with my resources.

I have tried to support myself by selling things, but my resources have run out. That is why I humbly turn to you: every donation, large or small, is an opportunity to continue my treatment, alleviate the pain, and maintain hope.
