Gina's Home damaged by Hurricane

Hi everyone,

After 5 agonizing days of not hearing from my mother and my sister in Puerto Rico, my sister was finally able to call me. Thankfully, everyone is safe. Sadly, my mother and my stepfather, Georgina Alicea & Roberto Pagan, had extensive damage to their house in Puerto Rico due to Hurricane Maria.

The roof was torn off their house, they have lost all of their furniture and belongings, and the house is flooded.  They are looking at being without power for at least 6 months - maybe more since they live in a rural area.

Our hope is to have them come to North Carolina and stay with us until their house is rebuilt. We need help to buy their airline tickets and to fund the beginning costs of rebuilding their house.

ps As soon as my mom and sister can send me pictures of my mom's house, I will post them. The above picture shows one of the roads that leads to my mom's town.
