Ayr Wellington P5 River Ayr Fun Run Fundraiser

Ayr Wellington Rugby Club P5 mini's (and coaches) will be doing the River Ayr 40 mile river run on Sunday 5th January. This is to raise important funds to allow the team to purchase much needed training equipment and other rugby necessities.

Understandably 40 miles is a big ask for 9 year olds, so each of the coaches will cover an 8 mile 'leg' passing the baton across. The kids will drop in and out on various legs throughout the day. This will be no small feat and there will be kids running on and off for up to 10 hours. The run will start at 8am at Glenbuck loch in East Ayrshire and finishing around 6pm at Dam Park Stadium, Ayr.

All support is gladly welcomed, anyone who wishes to come along on the day is welcome to join in.
