Ayesha Mosque is currently located outside city limits with no access to water and sanitary services. We cannot offer daily prayers, we have limited education (da'wah) programs, and we use third-party locations to host community engagement events.
We need a new location: One that can allow us to offer the essentials of a masjid to our community members and their children. Your donation today will help us build a masjid tomorrow, Insha'Allah.

About Ayesha Mosque
Founded in 2007, Ayesha Mosque serves 700+ Muslims in Kamloops and nearby areas. Located in Knutsford, outside of city limits, for 16+ years, the mosque is registered under the CRA and incorporated under the BC Society Act. We offer weekly Jummah prayer, Ramadan Taraweeh, Eid events, and various Islamic services, including marriage and burial. Additionally, the mosque is involved in domestic and international relief efforts and supports local winter shelters annually.

Why are we relocating?
- Current location is outside city limits with no transit access
- Current location is not serviced by any municipal services such as city water and sanitary
- Inefficient emergency response time due to isolation
- No opportunities for expansion of facility or programs
- Limited education (da'wah) programs due to remote location
- Limited outreach programs with Interfaith partners and humanitarian agencies.
A group from our community who helped in making and distributing winter shelter kits to various shelters in Kamloops.
Our Plan (Where are we relocating?)
Phase 1 Goal - Obtain land parcel for future masjid.
We are relocating to:
992 Fernie Road, Kamloops, BC V2C 1B3
- This location is central to all of Kamloops
- Access to city transit and municipal services such as water, sewage and timely emergency response
- Allows for accessible Muslim representation in Kamloops
- Great potential for expansion through acquisition of adjacent properties
