AYA COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund
The ongoing spread of COVID-19 has crippled many countries’ economies within six months. As it spread slowly in Africa, small business owners who depend solely on the income generated daily to feed their families are greatly affected. The Covid-19 Virus has killed many and has put fear in the life of everyone. This is the time for creative leadership, innovative thinking, and acts of solidarity.
As an organization, AYA deems it fit to respond to this rapidly evolving situation. With that, we are launching an Emergency Relief Fund to give out mini-grants with the hopes of reaching out to many people in our communities with emergency needs. Currently, our communities need us now than ever. This is a call for all of us to stand in unity to support families and those in the front line of the crisis.
We seek to fund individuals and families based on the following criteria:
• Currently not working due to the COVID-19 pandemic crisis Lockdown
• You or a family’s member is been diagnose of COVID-19 (Evidence required)
Funds will only be used for Rent, Food, and Medical supplies.
