Ava and Finn Wilson need our love and support

Our dear friends are hurting and asking for our help... Ava and Finn Wilson along with Mum Lisa lost their beautiful Dad and husband on Thursday 6th August 2020 in the Mermaid Beach Ocean.
An ocean we have no doubt all swam in, built sand castles with our kids on and enjoyed the beautiful Gold Coast lifestyle from. Sadly Simon went surfing alone that Thursday morning and did not return to his precious family.
Not only did Simon not come home to Lisa, Ava and Finn, he died before he and Lisa were to discover they were pregnant with their 3rd child.
Due in April 2021, this baby will be this devastated family’s last tie to their Dad and Husband, and will be showered with more love than humanly possible.
Ava, 8years old and a student at Broadbeach State School and Nipper at Mermaid Beach Surf Club, along with her younger brother Finn, 4 years old currently attending Broadbeach Waters Kindergarten are now left to grow up without their Dad tucking them in each night.
Having been a friend of the family for 8 years I know Ava and Finn will take on their role with great pride and make this baby feel extremely loved - a sibling that will grow up to realise that they are a special blessing to this family.
They will grow up being the story-tellers to their precious sibling about the things they loved about their Dad and how he made them feel, helping Lisa keep the memory of Simon alive in their hearts.
As our own hearts break for these two – soon to be three - beautiful children, and Lisa who is now on her own to raise her babies without her soul mate, we ask you to please give a donation that can be used to help support her and the children during this extremely hard and overwhelming time.
