The Lost Autistic Kids of the Covid-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the routines of not only millions of Americans but also of the whole world... and in the midst of the chaos caused by this unforeseen virus, people have largely forgotten about the Autistic community and how this pandemic has affected their daily routines.

This is why we call the Autistic community, the Lost Autistic Kids of the COVID -19 Pandemic because these kids have literally been forgotten by a society that is overwhelmed by the pandemic which is causing drastic changes to their own lives.

Unfortunately, "routine" is not just a word that describes daily activities for the Autistic community. It is something that actually gives them comfort and provides a known path to maneuver through the day so they aren't having more meltdowns, biting the skin off their arms, or running into the street because their brains can not handle their sensory overload.

Another consequence of this pandemic is the Autistic community's live therapies have been replaced with online meetings… a solution that is ineffective and former progress has regressed. Eliminating their therapies is just one more factor that adds to the suffering of the Lost Autistic Kids of the Covid-19 (as if what they are going through wasn’t enough).

The truth of the matter is, even with some cities opening businesses as usual… we foresee strict lockdown again in the near future due to the unstoppable nature of this mutating and adaptive virus.

Autistalline can help these kids. We developed a revolutionary product that needs to be made available NOW to the Autistic community with your help. The technology has been embedded into the lens of a pair of glasses, that when worn by Autistic individuals, makes a significant impact on their lives by helping their brain filter incoming sensory information.

Eyeglass testers have reported the following results: feeling calm in highly stressful situations, a new ability to easily perform activities that used to be difficult,  increased enjoyment of the taste of foods they usually hate,  enjoyment of situations that normally triggered a meltdown, and generally feeling less anger, frustration, and sensory overload.

Given the spectrum of ways Autism manifests in each individual, not all the benefits experienced by testers have been listed and the results will vary from individual to individual.

Unfortunately, we can not manufacture these glasses without your help.  Please have compassion for the silent, suffering children and provide the help Autistalline desperately needs in order to give this young Autistic generation the hope they need.  Time is of the essence as this world is getting harder and harder to navigate for all of us. If we're having trouble navigating this world as a non-Autistic person, imagine what it is like for them.

Share this campaign on your social media! Let’s get the word out and help the Lost Autistic Kids of the Covid-19…WE CAN’T DO THIS WITHOUT YOU.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

On behalf of the Lost Autistic Kids of the COVID-19 Pandemic
