Autism Swim Teaching Accreditation

Donation protected
I have been a swim teacher for a few years now. My focus over the last few years has been on aiding and arming  parents with knowledge on how to get their little bubs as water safe as possible and  to foster a longing love of the water.

I recently became aware  of another huge need in water safety. Currently 150 children are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder every hour. That’s about 1.3 million diagnosed every year. Currently there is very restricted amount of people with the skills required  to teach and understand these great kids.

For someone who lives and breathes Bondi, The iconic home of lifesaving. I hope that I can be able to help.

This  has become more apparent lately, due to a couple of my favorite kids having ASD and their need to progress in their lessons. However, due to a shortage in swim teachers with ASD specialized skills, I am afraid of losing out on the opportunity to keep their, and many others, love of swimming alive.

However, the course is out of my current financial ability.

The course is $399 with an ongoing yearly subscription of $39/month. I am hoping for help towards these costs to sustain 2 years which include  ongoing development and support from Autism Swim.

I am grateful for the opportunity to teach. It is a privilege to help. Could you please help to keep me helping?
