Austin & Rhythm Cordes

Austin and Courtney were expecting their first child in late April of 2022. By mid-April there were some complications for Courtney, resulting in her being admitted to the hospital with a diagnosis of Peripartum Cardiomyopathy (a type of congestive heart failure). The decision was made out of necessity to deliver their precious son, Rhythm via C-Section. Courtney remained in the hospital with various attempts to resolve her cardiac conditions, culminating in open heart surgery to install an LVAD and an RVAD device to assist her heart. Unfortunately, these attempts ultimately fell short and Courtney passed into the presence of her Lord Jesus on Monday, May 23rd.

As a couple, Austin and Courtney lived and served selflessly at a ministry in Nashville, TN, called Harvest Sound. As part of this ministry, they served the homeless, ministered to those on the streets of Nashville, those in prisons, and juvenile detention centers. They also traveled the US as well as internationally to do ministry. Their music blessed many as well.

Austin is now a single parent of his beautiful, healthy son Rhythm and has many financial issues to be addressed including hospital bills, living expenses and setting up a trust for Rhythm. Anything you can share towards these expenses would be a tremendous blessing to him.
