We have many exhibitors in our County that showed or were scheduled to show at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo as well as Rodeo Austin. These kids (along with parents, teachers, extension agents & mentors) poured their heart and souls into their projects.
It takes time and money to purchase and raise an animal for any show, much less to be able to compete at the HLSR/Rodeo Austin. I would like to raise money to help with expenses and to show these kids (and everyone else involved) that their hard work is being recognized. It breaks my heart to know that some kids may not get to experience the HLSR show ring.
The money raised will go to each Austin County, TX exhibitor that was entered to show at the HLSR/Rodeo Austin. Any amount helps. Let's show these kids that their passion and dedication matters!
