Guatemala Dental Mission Trip

On November 3rd, 2019 our dental team at Dentistry @ Manotick will be venturing to Guatemala to take part in a Volunteer medical mission trip.
We are working with the organization International Volunteer HQ (IVHQ), which is a volunteer travel company founded in 2007.
Some medical specialities that IVHQ offers include, Physiotherapy, Dentistry, Paramedics, Clinical Laboratory Science, EMTs, HIV/AIDs support and many more..
We are very passionate about using our skills and education to help those in need. As much as we are helping residents in Antigua, Guatemala, we are positive they will help us as well. Sometimes we get too comfortable in our standard of living and forget that the majority of people in the world have such basic needs still unmet. We are sure that participating in this mission project will have a positive long-term effect on us and remind us why we love dentistry, and love caring for people in the first place.
As this is a volunteer trip, we are required to pay for a fee to volunteer in this program. We also need to pay for accomodations while in Antigua for 1 week and pay for travel costs. Ant donation is greatly appreciated and will help us truly impact someone else's life.
