A Tractor for Norm

Tax deductible
Norm Rolling, co-founder and gardener of the EmilyAnn, needs a tractor.  Norm is the hands, heart, and head behind the EmilyAnn's beautiful gardens.  His vision and imagination have turned 12 acres of scrubby cedar into a destination visited by thousands of people each year.  The gardens, which are open to the public 365 days per year at no charge, provide school groups, families, community organizations and individuals with a place to gather, observe nature, and enjoy the beauty of the Texas Hill Country.

Frequent visitors are used to seeing Norm on the theatre's old John Deer backhoe.  Manufactured  around 1965, the backhoe has served us well and will continue to be used to maintain and improve the EmilyAnn's interior roads, but it is big! Norm needs something smaller and more maneuverable to be able to work along narrow pathways. The EmilyAnn has several projects in the works - a natural playscape,  the Children's Memorial Plaza at the top of the hill, and a butterfly garden  - all located in places that the backhoe can't access.  Our goal is to raise $26,500 to purchase a new Kubota  tractor that will serve the theatre for many years to come.  Please donate to help us  get Norm that tractor and then watch him create magic.
