Assistance + Custody of 2 Neglected Children

Please, help us give these two sweet children a better life!

Two children, ages 1 and 3 (who will remain unnamed) have been taken out of the custody of their incompetent parents very suddenly this month. They have since been given to the paternal uncle, Matthew and Fiancé, Salina...a dear friend of ours who needs help!

Recently, the police found the 3 year old boy, naked and wandering the busy streets in Palm Bay at 2am, about 3 blocks from home walking a pitbull.  The mother was later found intoxicated and was arrested for child neglect. She has since been incarcerated. Their father has been out of the picture for a length of time and has his own history, so he is in no position to be near these children. 

Both children have been victims of abuse and neglect and are showing out of control behaviors in response. The child neglect has been evident to the family, and there have been concerns, but the magnitude of the situation was beyond their knowledge. 

Neither child has a social security # or birth certificates. They have received none of the shots they need and have no medical records.

Both children are in diapers, although Salina has the 3 year old nearly potty trained in a short time. The clothing they came with was covered in mold as well as the car seats, so they had to be trashed.

The boy tends to run off,  so they have had to put up fencing  and completely childproof the home, which is one of their largest expenses. 

Since the kids have no shots, they can't get into childcare - so Salina is left having to stay home from work in the meantime, which is leaving them with a bigger financial burden. There is about a 6-8 week waiting period to get them up to date on their shots and get them in childcare so she can go back to work.

Additionally, Salina wants to get them into counseling immediately to help them with the behavioral issues they are having. They have trauma from the abuse/neglect and she is desperately trying to get them help before their behavior and the trauma becomes more engrained.

So far, they have purchased the most important necessities (car seats, clothing, food, etc) but are trying to collect 2nd hand items (listed below) as well as any additional financial assistance to help them get through the next 6 weeks as they make this huge transition.
